French songs

For various reasons, which I'm not going to go into at the moment, I have to produce a songsheet of songs which can be sung by a bunch of unmusical people. Ideally, I'd like to include a song in French which isn't the Marseillaise. Does anyone have any suggestions. Criteria are: 1. It must be a tune which French people would recognise from their youth (and maybe go "ahhhh") - the French equivalent of "There'll be Bluebells over the White Cliffs of Dover"). 2. It must be a tune which 25 English people might know and, more importantly, be able to sing. So far, my only thoughts have been "La Mer" - but as that's the only lyric I can remember, I'm having trouble finding it on the net - and "Chanson d'Amour" (which is predominantly in English and hence unsuitable). All assistance gratefully received. This is not a cunning plan to try and sell you some Herbalife products (see below).
