Back
Been away for a bit. Points to note include
- Sardinia is a wicked place with some absolutely superb beaches (most notably from my perspective on this trip, Piscinas on the Costa Verde and Porto Tramatzu in Cagliari province) and great food;
- Watch out for excess baggage on Ryanair;
- The Renault Modus is a surprisingly decent car;
- The prospect of speaking in front of 450 people at a wedding can sure put you off your dinner.
Congratulations to Chrishola and his lovely wife on their wedding. Very happy for you guys.

Cheers boss. Was a top speech. You'll be in demand at various Sri-Lankan functions from now on.
Cape Town rocks. Landed this morning. Its 30 degrees. Have eaten 24 large prawns, drank a lovely bottle of Chenin Blanc, gone up (and back down) Table Mountain and visited the beach (Camps Bay - nickyg would love it) in the space of a day. Will probably p1ss down from hereon.
But the only problem is I keep wanting to say to everyone I meet - "to me a grudge is somewhere you paark your caar..."
