Courier — a poem inspired by a hot day on a motorbike in London
Diving into early Summer City heat,
Today May be hotter than July.
Shirt becomes a dishrag under leathers,
Helmet squeezes boiling brain
As the traffic hits London Wall and stops.
Bikes seep into porous clay of cars and vans,
Traversing pedestrians ooze by,
Trickling out and away with the current.
I finally break the surface,
Scrambling out at the right bank, dripping.

My way — a poem inspired by Poet in the City
People say what goes around comes around
and shame on he who bums around.
But I'd rather kick it on the lay-back
Than contemplate karma payback.

Guêle de bois — French poem
J’ai mal à la tête,
Parce–ce que j’ai fait la
fête.
Et combien de verre du vin?
J'ai bu dix–sept.
